My Dad was my best friend, he was a very strict father, but I still could talk to him and he would listen, give advise, and always have a shoulder for me, or a lap to sit on when I needed comfort or just to have a hug. He was hard as nails, strong as an ox but was soft as marshmellows when the need was there. And God help anyone who ever hurt his family, he protected us all with a passion above all others.
On the 29th of December, it will be three years since he left, Christmas will never be the same again, it still hurts like all-get-up, but I must go on.

This is a drawing of my family. I drew this for my Mom in memory of my Dad who passed away on December 29th 2005, the day after his 66th birthday.
